Hello,
I applied for Amazon Brand Registry for my brand, Pawadise Parlor, and submitted all the required information, including my EIN number and business documents. However, my application was rejected. CASE NUMBER : 16044583531
The message from Amazon stated that my business name and business identifier (like EIN) couldn't be verified. I’m confident that all the information I provided is correct and all the documents are complete.
I would like to understand what caused this rejection and if there’s anything I need to correct or any additional documents I should provide.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? I would appreciate any advice on how to resolve it.
Thank you.
FROM AMAZON
Your appeal for Brand Registry enrollment application (BRAND NAME) has been rejected.
Why did this happen?
This decision was made since we could not verify the registered business name and business identifier (for example: tax ID number or business ID number) provided by you at the time of submitting the appeal form.
How does this impact my brand application status?
As part of our commitment to ensuring the accuracy and legitimacy of all brands in Brand Registry, we conduct business verification checks before completing enrollment. We leveraged a combination of automated means and human review to identify this issue and make this decision. Upon review, we noticed discrepancies in the information provided for your business. Ensuring accuracy is critical for maintaining the integrity of Brand Registry and providing the best service to our customers.
As a precautionary measure, access to your application will be locked for 90 days as you have failed multiple attempts at verifying your business.
Please note that enrollment in Brand Registry is at Amazon’s sole discretion. Any misuse of Amazon’s Brand Protection tools or suspected misconduct in the acquisition or maintenance of your intellectual property rights may lead to restrictions or removal from Brand Registry.
