Hi Sellers,
Welcome to our last but not least, Day 3 of our Brand Registry Ask Amazon Series! For this Ask Amazon event, the partner team’s are looking for your feedback on the Brand Registry Application Guide and the Brand Registry Help Portal.
What is the Brand Registry Application Guide? The application guide is a step by step guidance on how to enroll your brand with Brand Registry. The guide provides tips and best practices to ensure you correctly apply for your brand.
What is the Brand Registry Help Portal? Sellers with a Brand Registry account can access this help portal by clicking on “HELP” located on the top right of the Brand Registry page. The help page provides resources on pre enrollment and post enrollment to Brand Registry. Please note that a Brand Registry account is required to access the help portal.
The Brand Registry partner team would love to hear feedback from our sellers on the guides. For example, how can these guides improve? Are you able to find the information you are looking for? What is missing from these resources that could be helpful?
Please include any feedback you have in this event thread. Our partner team will be reviewing the replies that come in throughout the day and we’ll do our best to respond as soon as possible.
We look forward hearing from your thoughts!
Note: We cannot provide legal advice or otherwise interpret regulatory requirements on situations that are specific to individual sellers.

It seems that my old seller account (which I requested to be terminated in 2020) is still linked to my current email ID, making it appear as if I have two seller accounts. However, I only have one active seller account. Could you please help me get my brand registered?
Please reference that CASE ID 6470209671 which has the confirmation about my single seller account. Dear Jameson,
I am a new seller and due to my unfamiliarity with the initial brand registration process and insufficient upload materials, the brand registration has been put on hold. I am currently unable to reapply. Could you please help me return the previous brand application so that I can reapply for brand registration?
Thank you very much!
Hello,
I have been attempting to register our brand with Brand Registry, but my application was rejected, and it is now locked for 90 days USPTO registration number 98755868. I realized that I mistakenly entered incorrect information regarding our trademark application, which led to the rejection.
I would like to cancel the current application and submit a new one with the correct USPTO registration number 98796453. However, since the brand name "SPICY PANTRY" was used in the initial application, it appears the current application is locked, and I’m unable to apply again with second USPTO registration number which has the correct information.
Could you please assist me in canceling the current application so I can proceed with a new one using the updated USPTO registration number?
Thank you in advance for your help with this matter.

How do we get Brand Registry specific help? We are experiencing an issue with our listing recommendations not being accepted because "another brand representative has claimed ownership of the ASIN". How do we begin to research and troubleshoot this?
When I go to Brand Registry Support>Listing Issue, it tells me to contact Seller Support, which provides the same templated response each time, with no assistance on how to troubleshoot. https://brandregistry.amazon.com/cu/contact-us?serviceId=SOA
How do we get actual help instead of copy/paste responses from Seller Support? The guidance across Brand Registry and Seller Support is aimed at "how to" do certain tasks, but I have not been able to find anything that goes deeper or helps with troubleshooting ownership and listing issues.
Borosil_Glassworks_Ljust nowIn reply to: FVG_dietary_supp_440’s postHello Amazon Team, Thank you for organizing this forum regarding Brand Registry. However, why is there no phone support system in place for assistance with Brand Registry, as there are with other aspects of Seller Central. Even appointments had to made days or weeks out. Our team members have found once in a while phone support can aid greatly to resolve issues very expeditiously. I am sure many sellers out there would appreciate this service l, regardless of the scheduling time.An additional question: Why can’t out Brand Registry from the Vendor Central Platform translate over to Seller Central? Yes we understand the platforms are different, however, the qualifications of Brand registry are the same. A brand is a brand ! Once it has been recognized by Amazon why all the continuous red tape? Thank you in advance, Borosil

Will Amazon ever eventually protect the legitimate rights of USPTO Supplemental Trademark holders? These are U.S. registered trademarks, albeit supplemental, that qualify for some levels of legal protections - yet Amazon does not allow them in the Brand Registry. Amazon failing to add these to Brand Registry invites the IP theft of what are legitimate and emerging U.S. brands.
perhaps your team should inform themselves about trademark and brand name policy- when your team doesn’t understand these 2 and conflates these 2 distinct policies, it’s very damaging to our accounts.
Hello Jameson
I am in the process of setting up my seller store to sell my clothing brand, I have a pending trademark with the USPTO and have a print-on-demand supplier set up that integrates with Amazon.
While attempting to get a GTIN exemption and my brand registered, yesterday I received an email that my brand application was rejected for the following reasons:
1) "The image used for proof of brand does not show brand or label permanently fixed to merchandise."
The image I used was a shirt with my brand name and logo in large print on the chest and a smaller wordmark printed on the waist, as shown in the image provided.
2) "I am not allowed to use mock-up or edited images".
I laid my branded shirt on a table, took a picture with my phone, and did nothing else...
I am confused and would greatly appreciate further communication as I have met these requirements.
-thank you.
