My brand name is Tin + Steele. It is not trademarked but I would like to apply for brand approval (not brand registry).
The issue is that I currently have 2 amazon seller accounts. The first is under "Tin + Steele" and is for Amazon Pay, which I offer on my Shopify website - it was created years ago. When I got approached by Amazon to apply for Handmade, they told me that I would need to make a new Amazon seller account to access the handmade application link, so I made a new seller account under "TinAndSteele".
1. When I create a product under my handmade (TinAndSteele) account and try to use "Tin + Steele" as the brand, I get error 5461 saying I can't create new ASIN's for this brand - I am assuming because Tin + Steele is associated with my other amazon seller account which I wasn't able to apply for handmade with.
2. To get by this I tried to use "TinAndSteele" as the brand name, which then gives me error 5665, but when I try to get brand approval you need pictures showing this brand name exactly as written - but all of my products and packaging reflect "Tin + Steele" and it doesn't get approved due to the " + " instead of "And".
3. I tried to list a "Generic" product but when I click submit I am getting an error that states "changes to this product detail page are not allowed. if you want to sell a generic product, you must create a new product" - which I have done 3 times in a row and keep getting the same error when trying to submit the product listing.
I make the products, I am the [only] owner of the brand and I am absolutely exhausted at this point - this has gone on for weeks with no real help from Amazon support despite many cases and phone calls. Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong?
Thank you!
