Been selling on amazon for over 12 years. Rare to receive any sales now days. Check my account, maybe some ones on this form can help me. First time posting. Amazon has gone down hill for the worst.
We can't see your account-what do you sell?
12 years and you still couldn't figure things out? Amazon isn't meant for everyone
This is the million dollar question. I've been on here 23 years and still am mystified at times.
I took a quick look at some of your listings.. You are in a tough niche. Lots of competition. Two of the listings I saw you on I noticed 30 others sellers selling. This is a difficult situation.
Can you possibly get into selling your own branded products? This is what we did. Rather than jump on competitive listings we found a niche, created a brand and now make our own brand registered listings.
Just a thought.
Am in same boat & increased pistal fees cut into any profit...

For us 341 items were hit with high pricing error or others words PRICE FIXED by Amazon to 30-90% below market value along with who knows how many listings suppers by BUY BOX deletion withs amazons wording to encourage customers to basically not buy that item. For Toys this is peak season and we are down 59% while same time sales ticking up on ebay which we focused more on all years are we all see its about time to jump ship!!
Hey there @Seller_JjjclHTZ2flGZ, and welcome to the forums!
I'm hoping that sales have picked up for you since your original post, but also want to callout that buyer behavior may have shifted as we approach Black Friday / Peak Holiday season. Nevertheless, I'd like to drop some helpful resources here that may be beneficial. (Shameless borrowing from a collection one of my peers curated):
1. The first step is to use the Listing Quality Dashboard and take a good look at your product detail pages. Is all the information you would find on a product in a physical store present (e.g. sizing, dimensions, materials, etc.)? Be sure to fill in any informational gaps utilizing your detail page.
Best practices for product detail pages
2. Second, enhance your detail pages once you have the basics down. These enhancements will help to provide further education for your customers on the benefits of your product. A well-built and enhanced detail page can also help set you apart from competitors and create more trust with customers.
3. Next, optimize your search terms to ensure relevancy in your category. This is how customers will discover your products while they are browsing and searching for things. Be sure you are utilizing terms that make sense for your product and increase the likelihood of surfacing your product in search. After peak times like the holidays, customer shopping behavior can change pretty drastically so we suggest doing some research and taking a look at what is relevant now.
Optimize your product discoverability
I hope you find something within those resources helpful, and I wish you the best of luck going forward!

This is what is wrong with 50% of our active items Amazons encouragement on to purchase products as it is clear sales and customers shipping experience is 100% manipulated!

When listings do not have buy box sales example as we know go from 300+ units a week to zero so everyone check all items if you do not have buy box on listings you need to make decision leave it hope you get some straggler sales, drastically slash prices below cost so Amazon returns buy box or remove items all together it is this simple take the loss or shift sales! Once again read Amazons own words they post to customers this is not helping your sales this is harming you!
If you buy on Amazon, you have all the criteria for selling, just in reverse. What catches your eye? What relevant details are present? Is the item pictured exactly what you are looking for? How soon can I get it? Where is it shipped from? How are the reviews? What is the seller's feedback? Unfortunately, Amazon itself is in the way. Pictures can be incorrect, feedback and reviews are sometimes personal to one purchase, sparse and no help and details like size or quantity sometimes are hard to find. If a seller reported incorrect content it would be great if someone fixed it.
Your only fault is that you are not spending on advertising. Amazon no longer a place where you could rely on organic search. Everything is costing money and they are the dracula of all. You need to paid or get nothing.

Your only fault is that you are not spending on advertising. Amazon no longer a place where you could rely on organic search. Everything is costing money and they are the dracula of all. You need to paid or get nothing.
