I switched from a sole prop to LLC starting this year. Trying to switch over on Amazon has been nothing but a pain. My new LLC (single member disregarded entity) bank account was created with my business EIN. When Amazon asked for a bank statement, all requirements are available on the statement (name, DBA name, account #, within 180 days, not a screenshot, etc.
"We have reviewed the documents that you provided, but we could not complete the verification. As a result, your case will be closed, and your account will not be activated." Why does Amazon provide no reason that the account can't be validated, automatically close the case, and refuse to help me when I open a case (CASE 17035853941). Don't they want my money!!
I think it might have something to do with my name and DBA name on the accounts, even though both are listed on the bank statement. Amazon wants me to use my name as the legal business for the SMLLC when updated tax information because the LLC is not corporated. Someone (Amazon) please help.
